With calm confidence, rising actress Maryam Ashraf Zaki affirmed that criticism targeting the children of artists no longer affects her path, explaining that she has grown accustomed to comments claiming she entered acting through favoritism. She emphasized that her love for the craft remains her true motivation, helping her stay focused and resilient.

Maryam noted that her family has been a strong source of support, advising her to rely on passion as her shield against negativity. She also expressed joy over the artistic similarity between her and her aunt, acclaimed actress Magda Zaki, saying that hearing such comparisons fills her with pride and drives her to earn her aunt’s admiration.

Maryam is currently filming her role in the upcoming series Awlad Al-Ra’i, set for release in Ramadan 2026, starring alongside actor Majed Al-Masry who began shooting his scenes last week.
