The actress Mayan El-Sayed expressed her great happiness and gratitude for being part of the new generation in Egyptian cinema, pointing out that she is proud of this period, which witnesses a significant development in the Egyptian film industry, especially with the presence of a new generation of talented artists who are full of vitality and creativity. In her interview with media personality Mona El-Shazly, Mayan shared that she feels a strong connection with her fellow artists in this generation, emphasizing that she has worked with many of them and got to know their artistic and human sides, and this collaboration excites her a lot. She also expressed her optimism about the future of Egyptian cinema, saying that she is very enthusiastic to continue working in this field that she has loved since her childhood, adding: "God willing, we will be a different generation in cinema, a generation that leaves a clear mark and brings real change in the world of art."

 


During the interview, Mayan El-Sayed spoke about her personal life, revealing for the first time a past love story with an Indian man. Mayan said: "I was attracted to an Indian guy, and we met in Sri Lanka, and the relationship lasted only ten days, but it didn’t work out because we were far from each other, he was in India and I was in Egypt." She added with a smile: "When I told my parents about it, they said: 'Are you kidding?'", reflecting the supportive and simple family environment she grew up in.


On the other hand, Mayan talked about her latest cinematic work currently showing, where she stars in the film "Stars of the Coast," which has gained significant attention from the public and critics. The film stars a talented group of young actors such as Ahmed Dash, Ali Sobhi, Ahmed Abdelhamid, and others. The film also features a number of prominent stars like Akram Hosni, Dina El-Sherbiny, Amina Khalil, Ahmed Fahmy, and Mostafa Khater, along with over 14 special guest appearances, adding a unique dimension to the film.
