In another touching message, Nashwa Mostafa wrote:
“May God protect me as He has protected you... You honored me and may God honor you. You left me the most beautiful gift, our children. May God guide you to the highest paradise. Thirty-three years of protection, generosity, love, affection, and mercy. You taught me how to be charitable, how to be in the company of God, how to have self-respect, forgiveness, and reliance on God in all my affairs. You taught me how to honor my guests and the meaning of humility with the weak.”

She continued:
“Oh noble of character, son of a noble lineage... You forgot to teach me how to live without you. Thirty-three years, you never left my side for a moment, thirty-three years of memories, both sweet and bitter. You were the best husband and the best father. You honored me, protected me, comforted me, and raised our children with good values. Why did you leave me alone? I cannot live without you. You were my support in all my life’s circumstances, in my hardships and illness, you wiped away my pain. My dear, my lifelong companion, my father, brother, lover, husband, and son… I miss you deeply. How do I continue life without you? Pray for his mercy, pray for my patience, and pray for my children’s steadfastness.”
