Mona Abdel Ghani Reveals Childhood Secrets and Life Lessons: Special Message to Hala Shiha
In an exclusive interview, Mona Abdel Ghani shares her journey from childhood to her artistic career, her experiences producing a social album, and her views on important social issues, with a heartfelt message to Hala Shiha after wearing the hijab.
Renowned media personality and artist Mona Abdel Ghani appeared on the program "Waraqa Beida" with host Yomna Badrawi, sharing personal and professional experiences that few know about her career.
Mona spoke about her childhood:
"I was a lively child passionate about acting from an early age. I used to imitate Shadia in her films even though my family was very religious and conservative. After high school, I joined the Arabic Music Institute and began my singing career with full passion." 🎶✨
She added that leaving the "Friends" band was due to her mother's refusal to allow traveling for concerts. Her brother encouraged her to wear the hijab, referring to Shadia who retired and wore it. Mona said:
"Recently, I started buying modest clothes and thought about wearing the hijab, but it was always my personal choice, not under pressure." 💫
Mona also discussed her social album:
"I produced a full album carrying social messages. Although I was advised to release a single, I insisted on releasing the entire album. I also dream of hosting a religious program to spread positive messages." 📀✨
She addressed Hala Shiha after her hijab journey:
"Wearing or removing the hijab is a personal freedom. What matters is staying true to yourself. Hala told me she wants to act while wearing the hijab, and she has a beautiful heart. May God guide her to all that is good." 🌸
About Sherine Abdel Wahab, she said:
"She was my student, and I hope she returns with her amazing works." 🎤
On social issues like child harassment, Mona stated:
"Strict laws must be implemented to protect children, and I appreciate the production companies addressing these issues seriously." ⚖️💔
Responding to criticism by media personality Aya Abdel Rahman, Mona clarified:
"Women are not shameful. We used to recite the Quran in Al-Azhar in front of both genders. The program I participated in was a wonderful experience respecting religious values." 📖💫
