The artist Nadia Mostafa revealed her strong and sincere desire to wear the hijab, confirming that this decision is one of the most difficult a woman can make, yet it has been closest to her heart for years. She noted that she always prays to God to guide her to take this step at the right time and with full conviction. She explained that she does not want to wear the hijab under any external pressures, but rather wishes it to come from within, out of complete faith, so she can live that moment with happiness and peace of mind.

Nadia Mostafa said in her statements: “I do nothing that displeases God, I do not appear in immodest clothes, nor do I utter inappropriate words. I am certain that God will hold me accountable for my actions and intentions. I sincerely wish that God will grant me the ability to wear the hijab one day. I know this decision is difficult, but I dream of the day I can live it with full conviction and satisfaction. When my daughter wore the hijab, I felt indescribable joy and said to her: ‘You have made my heart happy,’” confirming that this was one of the most beautiful moments of her life as a mother.

She pointed out that she does not consider herself negligent in her religious commitment but hopes to be even closer to God, adding: “All I wish is that God grants me the good in this great decision and that it happens at the time He wills for me, for I believe that everything has its destined time.”

On another note, Nadia Mostafa spoke of the pride she felt after being honored recently in Lebanon for the first time in her artistic career as part of the Zaman El Jamil Festival, one of the major artistic festivals that highlight stars who have enriched the artistic scene with their influential works. She affirmed that this moment will remain engraved in her heart for the appreciation and recognition it carried for her long artistic journey.

She wrote in a post on her official Facebook account: “It is a source of great joy and pride for me to be honored for the first time in Lebanon at the Zaman El Jamil Festival, as this name alone carries so much prestige. I feel deeply grateful to be among a constellation of Arab stars who have enriched the artistic life with timeless works that will remain engraved in the hearts of current and future generations,” directing her thanks to all those involved in the festival for their great efforts to present it in such a distinguished way.

She also extended special thanks to Dr. Herach, the festival’s president, saying: “I would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Herach. He was not only the one who invited me to this honor, which brought me so much joy, but he is also a role model for his love of his country, Lebanon, and his determination to hold this grand event despite the difficult circumstances and the painful news Lebanon is going through. May God protect Lebanon, Egypt, and all our Arab countries.”

With these words filled with human and spiritual sentiments, the artist Nadia Mostafa expressed her ongoing journey between art and faith, affirming that she still dreams of wearing the hijab as an important step in her personal life, while continuing to present works worthy of her long artistic history that has enriched the hearts of the Arab audience.
