Actor Nidal El Shafie is receiving condolences today for his late mother at Al-Hamidiya Al-Shadhili Mosque, after she passed away last Wednesday following a battle with illness.
The Actors’ Syndicate, headed by Ashraf Zaki, mourned his mother, stating:
"With deep sorrow and sadness, the Actors’ Syndicate mourns the mother of Nidal El Shafie, asking God to grant her mercy, place her in His vast paradise, and grant patience and solace to her family and loved ones."
Nidal El Shafie personally announced the death of his mother on Facebook, saying:
"Indeed we belong to God, and indeed to Him we shall return. My dearest mother has passed away to God’s mercy."
He also shared details about the final days of his late wife, Hend Mohamed Ali, revealing her wish to have a shared burial plot in Cairo, even though his family’s plot is in Monufia, a request whose significance became clear only after her passing.
