In a new episode of her show “Enty W Bass” on DMC, TV host Radwa El Sherbiny defended actress Riham Abdel Ghafour and criticized those attacking her on social media.
El Sherbiny said: “If you don’t like what she’s wearing, didn’t God command us to lower our gaze? Didn’t He tell us to protect others’ dignity? The Prophet said: ‘Whoever conceals a believer, Allah will conceal him on the Day of Judgment’”, stressing the importance of respecting others’ privacy and avoiding excessive criticism.
She added that the over-the-top attacks reflect an ethical crisis for some, noting: “We all have faults, and we should cover them.” She emphasized that criticisms of Riham Abdel Ghafour are unfair and that some posts were simply aimed at chasing trends and fame at the expense of others’ reputations.
El Sherbiny also questioned those who posted the photo: “What was your intention? If you were covering a film event, why take this photo? What message does posting it on social media convey?”
The host concluded by clarifying that her remarks were directed at the critics of Riham Abdel Ghafour, not the actress herself, urging everyone to practice respect and discretion and avoid exaggerated attacks on public figures.
