Rami Imam Reveals Behind-the-Scenes of Working with His Father Adel Imam and His Iconic Projects

In an exclusive interview with journalist Abdelaziz Ahmed on Al Dhafra TV 📺, director Rami Imam discussed his notable collaborations with his father, the iconic actor Adel Imam, emphasizing that working with him was a unique experience, though similar to working with other top stars 🌟.
Rami explained that he worked on several projects, including Amir Al-Dhalam and multiple action and drama series. He added that the public often asks him about works like Ghabey Menho Feh and the memorable film 1/8 Dozen Villains 🎬💥, which holds a special place in his heart due to its unique energy, outstanding locations, and performances by stars such as Yasmine Abdel Aziz and Nicole Saba, adding charm and authenticity.
Regarding his collaboration with his father, Rami said: “Working with my father is not very different from working with other top artists. He is the simplest person on set, accepts the director’s guidance professionally, and always arrives early” ✨. He added that his experience with projects like Al-Araf and Sahib Al-Saada was remarkable, and audiences still express how much his father’s work has impacted them 💖.
Rami also revealed his personal favorite, the film Al-Mashbouh, noting the behind-the-scenes challenges and the exceptional performances, considering it a masterclass in acting, and expressed his wish to do a remake in the future 🎬.
Talking about his recent works, Rami mentioned the film Al-Bahth An Fadihah, where he collaborates with Hesham Majed. He highlighted that Hesham is professional, respectful, and calm, and that his father Adel Imam welcomed this project, which aims to introduce the new generation to classic cinematic heritage 🌟.
Rami Imam is also preparing his upcoming series Return of Television with writer Youssef Maati, scheduled to air after Ramadan 2026, marking a strong comeback after a 5-year hiatus.
