In a message shared on his official Instagram account, Gamal described the current season as one of the strongest in recent years, thanks to the release of numerous high-quality albums by leading artists.
He expressed concern that many fans now treat music competitions the same way football supporters treat rival clubs, creating unnecessary conflicts and online attacks.
Gamal emphasized that artists themselves maintain respectful relationships and healthy professional competition, adding that the social media conflicts do not reflect reality.
He also criticized some self-proclaimed music critics on social platforms, arguing that many opinions are published without proper musical knowledge or academic background, resulting in misleading evaluations.
The singer congratulated all artists who released albums this summer, stressing that the ultimate goal is to support Egyptian music and preserve its prestigious reputation across the Arab world.
His remarks come as his latest album continues to receive positive reactions, featuring several successful tracks, including the duet "Leila Wara Leila" with Saad Lamjarred, along with many other songs that have attracted strong audience engagement.
