Following President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's approval, Dr. Rasha Saleh takes charge of the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome with a comprehensive plan to strengthen Egypt’s cultural presence internationally.
Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, announced the appointment of Dr. Rasha Saleh as Director of the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome for one year, following the President’s approval 🌟.
The strategic plan includes partnerships with Italian and international cultural institutions, exchange programs, art exhibitions, and support for Egyptian artists across visual arts, theatre, literature, and translation 🌍🤝.
The Minister emphasized the Academy's role as a key platform for Egypt’s soft power abroad and highlighted the importance of embracing contemporary artistic trends while expanding collaboration with European institutions.
Rasha Saleh confirmed that the Academy will serve as a bridge for cultural dialogue between Egypt and Europe, providing opportunities for artistic development, exchange, and innovation.
Previously, Dr. Saleh served as Director of the National Center for Translation and is a Professor of Comparative Literature and Literary Criticism. She holds a Ph.D. from Sorbonne University in Paris 🎓, with extensive experience in research, translation, and cultural project management.
