Born on July 26, 1936, Sayed Abdel Karim began acting in school theatre before studying agriculture, where his passion for performing continued to grow.
Throughout his career, he became one of Egypt's finest character actors, appearing in iconic television series such as Layali El Helmeya, Al Shahd Wal Domoa, Al Raya Al Baida, Khalty Safeya Wal Deir, and many others.
His film career included memorable roles in The Emigrant, Execution Squad, and The Days of Sadat, showcasing his exceptional versatility.
In his final years, Abdel Karim suffered from heart disease, kidney failure, and several strokes, which gradually forced him away from acting. His final appearance was in the TV series Ahl Cairo.
He passed away on March 31, 2012, leaving behind a timeless artistic legacy that continues to inspire generations of actors and entertain millions of viewers.
