Saad Lamjarred to Face French Court on Monday Over Indecency Case
Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred is set to appear before Draguignan Criminal Court on Monday, accused of sexually assaulting a waitress in Saint-Tropez in 2018, a charge he denies.
Moroccan artist Saad Lamjarred is scheduled to appear in French court on Monday, facing multiple sexual assault allegations, the most recent involving the alleged rape of waitress Dominique Lardan at a bar near Saint-Tropez in 2018, which he denies.
The trial will be held before Draguignan Criminal Court, with the verdict expected on Thursday.
Dominique Lardan, who worked as a waitress in Saint-Tropez, stated during investigations that she did not realize Lamjarred was a famous artist when they met at a nightclub.
Previously, in June, Lamjarred was sentenced to six years in prison by Paris Criminal Court in 2023 after being convicted of raping and assaulting a young woman he met at a nightclub in Paris in 2016, in a luxury hotel room.
