Born in Cairo in 1942, Samir Ahmed Ibrahim Farag graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema’s cinematography department in 1964. He is considered one of the pioneers of cinematography in Egypt and the Arab world.
He has worked on more than 86 feature films, in addition to numerous documentaries and short films, collaborating with some of the most prominent directors in Egyptian cinema. 🎥📽️
