Actor Abdel Moneim Al-Marsafi revealed a side of the personality of the legend Adel Imam behind the scenes, confirming that the great star was extremely disciplined and strict, leaving no room for leniency on set, especially in theater.
Al-Marsafi explained that Adel Imam used to refuse invitations from some Gulf brothers when traveling abroad, preferring to spend his time only with Egyptians. He said, "He would say no and stay with the Egyptians wherever we went."
He also recounted a famous incident during one of the theater performances when an actress laughed inappropriately during a scene. Adel Imam immediately stopped the show and sternly told her, "Get out," asking her to leave the stage immediately.

Al-Marsafi added, "The legend used to arrive very early, from 8 o’clock, treating the theater as if it were a temple—no joking around, just commitment and respect."
