Sediq Sakhr Reveals His Desire for Marriage and Talks About His Artistic Journey
Actor Sediq Sakhr opened up about his wish to get married and have children, while sharing insights into his successful career in music and drama.
Actor Sediq Sakhr recently shared in radio interviews his desire for marriage and a stable family life, expressing his wish to have children. He stated: "I want to get married and have children, and I really love stability, but as you grow older, marriage becomes more complicated." He added humorously: "I don’t know why I haven’t married yet, I guess it’s my fault."
Sakhr also discussed his artistic achievements and recent works, including his role in the TV series “La Tard Wala Tastabdal”, describing his character Nader as real with strengths and flaws, and noting that the character was developed continuously in coordination with the writer and director. About the criticism, he commented: "You made it a bigger issue than it is."
He expressed his longing for music and musical projects, particularly as he plays the guitar, but hasn’t had much time due to his acting commitments.
Regarding his portrayal of composer Mahmoud Al-Sharif, fiancé of Umm Kulthum, in the film “Al-Sitt”, Sakhr emphasized he aimed to showcase the character’s spirit and charm, calling it “an amazing experience.”
Sakhr described director Marwan Hamed as exceptional, praising his deep understanding of his work and his ability to guide actors to deliver their roles in the best possible way.
He also revealed that he left engineering studies out of his passion for the arts and emphasized that he refuses roles that don’t challenge him, regardless of the lead billing, noting that the director’s vision often determines his participation in projects.
