Shahyn Launches “CEO” From His New “taltesh” Mini Album Ahead of His US Tour
Egyptian rapper Shahyn has officially opened a new chapter in his musical journey with “CEO,” the first release from his upcoming four-track mini album “taltesh.” The project brings together Shahyn and producer Coolpix in a new creative collaboration, supported by a distinctive visual concept and a series of upcoming live performances across the United States
Egyptian rapper Shahyn has entered a new phase of his artistic career with the release of “CEO,” the first track from his new mini album “taltesh.” The release introduces a project built around musical variety, collaborations and a carefully developed visual identity.
The mini album consists of four tracks: “CEO,” “taltesh,” “Kafa,” and “more.” The project follows more than three months of preparation and is designed to present Shahyn through a different artistic direction.
🎧 Shahyn and Coolpix Continue Their Collaboration
“taltesh” extends the creative partnership between Shahyn and music producer and arranger Coolpix.
Coolpix handles the musical production, arrangements and melodies across the project, while Shahyn contributes the lyrics. The collaboration follows their previous work on “Koloh Zay Baadho”, a track that also featured Onny and explored ideas surrounding repetition, identity and the pressure to conform.
This continued partnership gives the mini album a consistent musical foundation while allowing the individual tracks to explore different sounds and performances.
🎬 A Visual Concept Built Around Separate Episodes
One of the most distinctive elements of “taltesh” is its visual approach.
Instead of treating every song as a completely independent music video, Shahyn developed a concept based on separate visual episodes filmed within the same location.
The project is directed by Nerouz Abou Zeid, marking another collaboration between the rapper and director after a creative partnership that has continued for around six years.
The concept is intended to connect the music and visuals into one larger artistic experience, allowing every track to maintain its own identity while remaining part of the same overall world.
🎤 Four Tracks and Multiple Collaborations
“taltesh” features four tracks:
🔹 CEO
🔹 taltesh
🔹 Kafa
🔹 more
The project also includes two collaborations in which Shahyn appears alongside Double Zuksh and Mard, in addition to two solo tracks.
The structure gives the mini album a balance between Shahyn’s individual performance and collaborative moments, while Coolpix remains responsible for the musical production and arrangement throughout the project.
Releasing “CEO” first also creates a gradual rollout for the project, allowing audiences to discover the mini album one track at a time rather than receiving all four songs simultaneously.
🌎 Shahyn Heads to the United States
The release of “taltesh” also arrives ahead of Shahyn’s upcoming US Tour.
The announced schedule shows the tour beginning in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 19, 2026, followed by performances in cities including Chicago, Brooklyn, Tampa and Anaheim.
The timing gives the new project an important role in Shahyn’s upcoming live performances, particularly as the rapper prepares to bring his latest material to audiences outside Egypt.
The tour also reflects the growing international reach of Egyptian hip-hop and the ability of Egyptian rappers to connect with audiences across different markets. 🌎🎤
🚀 Why “taltesh” Could Become an Important Chapter for Shahyn
“taltesh” is notable because it combines several creative elements rather than relying solely on the release of individual songs.
The project brings together Shahyn’s writing, Coolpix’s musical production, Nerouz Abou Zeid’s visual direction and collaborations with Double Zuksh and Mard.
Its unified visual concept also places greater emphasis on the relationship between music and storytelling. Rather than simply producing traditional music videos, the project aims to create a connected visual environment around the tracks. 🎥✨
With the first release already setting the project in motion and the US Tour approaching, “taltesh” represents a potentially important stage in Shahyn’s 2026 activity.
