International star Shakira captured global attention during her massive concert held on the beach of Copacabana Beach in the city of Rio de Janeiro, where she presented a series of diverse outfits that drew widespread interest from fans and fashion followers around the world, with an estimated audience of around two million people.
The concert, held on the evening of May 2, featured an exceptional atmosphere stretching across the iconic beach, where Shakira performed a selection of her most famous songs amid strong audience engagement, in what is considered one of the largest free concerts held in Brazil in recent years.
Shakira opened the show with a look inspired by the Brazilian flag colors, wearing a striking jumpsuit designed by Brazilian designer Dario Mittmann. The design featured long sleeves with attached gloves and a fitted silhouette that highlighted a theatrical style as she entered the stage carrying the Brazilian flag.
Throughout the show, the Colombian star changed several outfits. She first appeared in a short dress in green and pink tones paired with knee-high boots made of the same fabric, before switching to a fully covered modest outfit in green, yellow, and indigo tones. In one of the most talked-about moments, Shakira wore a fully embroidered golden outfit with shiny fringes designed by Brazilian designer Victor Hugo Mattos, known for his bold theatrical costumes for international stars.
