الفنانة شمس البارودي أبدت تعاطفها مع الطيار الراحل،

pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yassar, which took place in 2019. She commented on the situation, saying: "I pray that those who cut off his livelihood are deprived of God's mercy." She spoke about the late pilot’s suffering due to the incident and prayed for divine punishment for those responsible, emphasizing that the pilot had died in anguish because of what happened.

In a post on her official Facebook account, Shams Al-Baroudi wrote: "Hasbi Allah wa ni'mal wakeel. You’ve given value to the ignorant, and he is nothing. We live in an era of monstrosity. I’ve heard about and know the pilot's story, may Allah have mercy on him, but this is the first time I’ve seen it. I pray that those who cut his livelihood be deprived of Your mercy." She continued, "Every penny is accounted for in his grave, sooner or later. The man died in sorrow, may Allah make you suffer, and all who stand with falsehood, triviality, and foolishness, and those who amassed wealth."

Shams Al-Baroudi also affirmed that poverty is not a shame, but wealth gained through arrogance and ignorance harms society and damages individuals of higher value and character. She called for accountability for those who contribute to spreading triviality and exploiting people’s ignorance to serve personal interests at the expense of others. She pointed out that the situation faced by the pilot was a clear injustice and that those responsible should face the consequences of their actions.

The actress further emphasized that actions which promote false values, like this incident, not only harm the victims but also damage the public reputation of society and the art industry in particular. She expressed her regret for the state some people have reached, seeking fame at the expense of human values and respect.

The story dates back to October 2019 when Mohamed Ramadan posted a video on his Instagram account showing him inside the cockpit of a plane, making it appear as though he was piloting it, in violation of aviation laws that prohibit passengers from interacting with the crew. This incident led the Ministry of Civil Aviation to take action against the pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yassar, who had allowed Ramadan to experience the illegal act.

Shams Al-Baroudi expressed her sympathy for the late pilot, considering what he went through to be an injustice, especially as the public space had become a platform for some individuals to boast at the expense of others' true values.
