Sherif Hafez Condemns Bullying and Racism in Drama: "We Were Not Raised on the Streets
Actor Sherif Hafez calls on drama producers to prevent bullying, provocation, and racism in TV series, emphasizing the importance of content that respects audiences and human values
Actor Sherif Hafez urged drama industry professionals to intervene and prevent certain TV series from becoming platforms for provocation and bullying, stressing his rejection of any form of racism in artistic works.
Sherif wrote on his Facebook account: "Dear all, I hope the industry leaders prevent series from turning into arenas for provocation and bullying, because we were not raised on the streets, and it’s unacceptable for artists to act in a discriminatory manner."
He added: "Enough with racism—whether in color, age, or any form. This type of content is not acceptable."
Meanwhile, Sherif Hafez is currently filming his new movie When Love Writes, which recently began production with stars Ahmed El Fishawy and Gomaa Awad.
The film belongs to the social romance genre, featuring multiple couples’ stories that explore emotional relationships and human feelings, highlighting the challenges and inner conflicts of the characters.
The cast also includes Moatasem El Nahar, Sherry Adel, Sawsan Badr, Nancy Salah, and Elham Safi El Din. The film is produced by Naif Abdullah and marks the directorial debut of Mohamed Hany.
