The fifth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival kicked off in Jeddah under the theme “For the Love of Cinema” 🎥✨, with numerous stars from the Arab world and abroad gracing the red carpet, creating magical and unforgettable moments.

• Mohamed Farag & Basant Shawky:
  Mohamed Farag stunned with a shaved look for his role in the upcoming series Game of Hell, while his wife Basant Shawky stole the spotlight with a glamorous appearance 💕🔥.

• Michael Caine & Vin Diesel:
  Michael Caine attended on a wheelchair to receive his festival honor, assisted by Vin Diesel, a moment that captured everyone’s attention 📸💫.

• Arab & International Stars:
  The event also featured stars like Jessica Alba, Juliette Binoche, Olga Kurylenko, Laila Elwi, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, Rojina, Zain Metawin, Ana de Armas, Sean Baker, Nadine Labaki, Hassan El Raddad, Amy Samir Ghanem, Arwa Gouda and her husband, as well as global stars Riz Ahmed, Turkish actors Serkan Şayalıoğlu & Dilan Çiçek Deniz, Ahmed Dawood, Ola Roshdy, Yousra Nasrallah, Tarek El-Shennawy, Majid El-Masry, Abbas Al Nouri, Naomi Harris, Dakota Johnson, and Aishwarya Rai 🌟🌍.

• Highlight Film – Giant:
  The opening also featured Giant, starring Amir El-Masry, portraying the story of Yemeni-British boxer Naseem Hamid, rising from the working-class streets of Sheffield to a world champion under coach Brendan Engle 🥊💥. Pierce Brosnan also stars in the film, directed and written by Rawn Athaly, produced by Sylvester Stallone.

• Global Selections Program:
  The festival unveiled its “Global Selections” program, featuring the best films of 2025, with 9 world premieres in the Middle East & North Africa, including two Egyptian films debuting in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦🎥:

1. The Settlement – directed by Mohamed Rashad

2. My Father’s Scent – directed by Mohamed Siam
   Both films explore complex family relationships and fatherhood from a deeply human perspective with outstanding performances 👏✨.
