“Tallaqni” Breaks the Two-Million-Riyal Mark at the Saudi Box Office
The film “Tallaqni” continues its strong box office performance in Saudi cinemas, surpassing two million riyals and ranking among the highest-grossing films of the week.
The film “Tallaqni” has successfully entered the list of the highest-grossing movies at the Saudi box office this week, confirming its strong audience appeal since its release.
The movie ranked second among the top-grossing films in Saudi cinemas, achieving revenues of approximately 2.4 million Saudi riyals, a clear indication of its growing popularity.
Directed by Khaled Marei, “Tallaqni” features a large number of guest appearances and marks the second collaboration between actress Dina El Sherbiny and actor Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, following their previous success in the film “El Hanna Elli Ana Feih.”
The film stars a distinguished cast including Bayoumi Fouad, Bassem Samra, Mohamed Mahmoud, Hanan Soliman, Hatem Salah, Mahmoud Hafez, Mostafa Abu Serea, Donia Sami, Sherif Hosny, Abed Anany, and Otaka. The screenplay is written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Khaled Marei.
This success builds on the achievements of the film’s creators, as “El Hanna Elli Ana Feih” previously generated impressive revenues exceeding 30 million Egyptian pounds in Egyptian theaters and topped the Saudi box office for an extended period.
“El Hanna Elli Ana Feih” starred Yasmine Raeis, Dina El Sherbiny, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mariam El Gendy, and Hatem Salah, among others. Written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Khaled Marei, the film follows a social comedy storyline that resonated strongly with audiences.
The strong performance of “Tallaqni” further solidifies its position as one of the most successful Arab films currently showing in Saudi cinemas.
