"The characters in ‘Sahar El Layali’ were inspired by my real friends. The hardest film I wrote was about love and passion, and sometimes I allowed directors to intervene in my scripts."
He also expressed his attachment to his characters, even the antagonists, such as Basel Al-Khayat in "Tariqi" and Anushka in "Grand Hotel".

Tamer emphasized that his friends are his true treasure, especially after losing his mother:
"On the day my mother passed away, I felt like a millionaire because of all the support I received from my friends."
