The Egyptian series Natural Disaster kicked off with a dramatic and comedic storyline, where actor Mohamed Sallam plays “Mohamed,” an aspiring writer trying to pitch his work to producer Mohamed El-Adl.

However, the plot takes a surprising turn when Mohamed discovers that his wife Shorouk (played by Jihad Hossam El-Din) secretly bought a pregnancy test while shopping at the supermarket 🛒. When she later confirms the pregnancy, tensions explode between them since they had agreed to delay having children, leading to an emotional and intense confrontation.

As the argument escalates, Shorouk storms out of the house, leaving her husband in shock and confusion 😔 — setting the stage for a mix of humor and heartfelt family drama that continues throughout the series.

The show stars Mohamed Sallam, Jihad Hossam El-Din, Kamal Abu Raya, Hamza Al-Ali, Amgad Abed, Haidi Abdel Khaleq, and Mahra Medhat. It is written by Ahmed Atef Fayyad, with music by Khaled Al-Kammar, and directed by Hossam Hamed.

Natural Disaster airs weekly on Watch It, one of the platform’s original productions, releasing two episodes each Wednesday across a total of ten episodes.
