The ninth episode of the series Natural Disaster unfolds with heightened drama as a fierce dispute erupts between Mohamed Sallam and his wife Shorouk, played by Jihad Hossam El-Din, following his release pending investigation in a case involving an assault on a film writer inside a cinema.
The conflict originates from an earlier encounter in the hospital during Shorouk’s delivery, where Sallam shared his story ideas with writer Emad Rashad and handed him the script. He later discovered that the new film was credited solely to the writer, which fueled his anger and led to the confrontation inside the cinema.
This incident resulted in Sallam being banned from traveling abroad, igniting Shorouk’s frustration as she expressed her fear for the future of their family, accusing him of failing to provide security for her and their children. The scene stood out as a gripping emotional turning point that deepened the cracks in their relationship.
The series stars Mohamed Sallam, Jihad Hossam El-Din, Kamal Abu Rayya, Hamza El-Aili, Amgad Abed, Haidy Abdel Khaleq, and Mahra Medhat, written by Ahmed Atef Fayad with music by Khaled Al-Kammar and directed by Hossam Hamed.
