The Theater Confrontation and Touring Project wrapped up its village tour in Assiut and Qena with the performance of "The Big Night," attracting over 30,000 spectators and receiving wide engagement from audiences of all ages ✨
Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, the Confrontation and Touring Project led by artist Hesham Atwa concluded its activities with the performance of "The Big Night" in ten villages of the Hayah Kareema initiative in Assiut and Qena, attracting over 30,000 spectators from January 5 to 15 🎟️
The tour received remarkable engagement from local communities, with performances held in:

Assiut: Masra’ Village, Ezbet Abu Al-Qassem, Bani Marr Village, Dar Al-Hanan for Orphans, and Al-Azhar University – Assiut branch.

Qena: Qena Cultural Palace, Community Development Association in Naqada, Kom Al-Dabaa Youth Center – Naqada, Al-Dhafria Youth Center – Qift, and Dendera Youth Center.
Alongside theatrical performances, the accompanying activities included:
📚 Organizing book fairs and distributing free books to children and youth
🎨 Conducting workshops and visual arts activities to nurture talents
🌟 Promoting cultural awareness and supporting the enlightening role of art in villages
Mohammed Al-Sharqawi, project supervisor, emphasized that the tour aims to enhance cultural justice and deliver cultural services to underprivileged villages, contributing to the development of Egyptian citizens and cultivating artistic and cultural taste among local communities.
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Culture’s plan to expand cultural activities in villages, integrating art, education, and culture into comprehensive programs designed to stimulate creativity and discover young talents ✨🎭
