The lawyer of the victim in the hit-and-run incident involving actor Nour El-Nabawy, which took place earlier, revealed the legal steps they intend to take against the actor. The lawyer stated that they will request the relevant authorities to conduct a drug test for Nour El-Nabawy due to his erratic behavior during his interactions with the victim.

In televised statements, the victim’s lawyer confirmed that Nour El-Nabawy stopped communicating with the defense team after the incident. He noted that the initial interaction was very positive, but later, communication ceased entirely. He said, "Since Wednesday, we have not received any response, and even yesterday, no legal step had been taken. In my professional experience, I have never seen a defendant make public statements."

The lawyer also mentioned that Nour El-Nabawy and his lawyer had made inaccurate statements about the incident, including claims that Nour would cover the victim's medical treatment, which the victim’s lawyer categorically denied. He said, "We have not received any financial or material support from the actor or his lawyer. They said Nour would take care of the victim's treatment, but this has not happened."

The lawyer further explained that an agreement had been made between Nour El-Nabawy’s lawyer and a representative of the victim to pay an initial compensation of 150,000 EGP for the victim’s damages during the time he would remain home due to his injuries, but the amount had not been paid yet. He asked, "How can the victim, who has a family, manage under these circumstances? How will he pay for his son's treatment and physical therapy expenses?"

The victim’s lawyer pointed out that Nour El-Nabawy was attempting to present himself as a compassionate and understanding person, but in reality, this was not the case. Nour had disappeared from contact with the victim and failed to fulfill any of his promises. He said, "Nour tried to present himself as someone who is considerate of the situation, but the truth is that the money and promises were not kept."

The lawyer added that the defense team would seek witness testimony in the case to document everything that has happened from the start of the incident to the present. He clarified that the victim was not seeking financial compensation but was instead looking for justice. "The victim does not want any material compensation; all he wants is for justice to be served and for those responsible for the incident to be held accountable."

In conclusion, the victim’s lawyer addressed Nour El-Nabawy directly, saying, "If you are a young person and may have made a mistake in handling the matter, there is always room to fix things. But we are surprised by your reaction to what happened." The lawyer added that the victim was waiting for Nour El-Nabawy to admit his mistake and take responsibility for the incident.
