Spanish media reports have revealed that Al Hilal Saudi Club is strongly pursuing the signing of Brazilian star Vinícius Júnior from Real Madrid, aiming to make him the next big acquisition for the club. According to José Félix Díaz, the editor-in-chief of Spanish newspaper Marca, Vinícius is the top target on Al Hilal's list of signings, and he is the preferred choice for the club's management.

Díaz further explained that the fate of the transfer could depend on Real Madrid's performance in domestic competitions, noting that the King's Cup final against Barcelona and the ongoing competition in La Liga will play a significant role in determining the future of several players within the team, with Vinícius being one of them.

Al Hilal is having a strong season in the Saudi Pro League, currently sitting second in the standings with 61 points, behind leaders Al Ittihad who have 65 points. Al Hilal is aiming to reclaim the top spot while simultaneously strengthening its squad with international stars for the upcoming season.

In related news, global reports have suggested that Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus, the current coach of Al Hilal, has become one of the top candidates to take over as head coach of the Brazilian national team, should the Brazilian Football Confederation fail to reach an agreement with Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti, currently at Real Madrid.

Additionally, Díaz mentioned that Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez, of Liverpool, is interested in exploring a new challenge in the Saudi Pro League, especially considering the league's rapid rise in terms of both quality and the stars now playing in it.
