Aswan prepares to host the 13th edition of its International Festival of Culture and Arts, featuring local and international troupes, with exceptional performances celebrating cultural diversity and Egypt’s rich heritage.

The 13th Aswan International Festival of Culture and Arts begins Wednesday, February 4, under the patronage of Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano and Aswan Governor Major General Ismail Kamal, organized by the General Authority of Cultural Palaces in collaboration with the Central Administration of International Cultural Relations. 🌟🎶

Eight international troupes from Greece, Sudan, Palestine, Latvia, India, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, and Montenegro will join six Egyptian folk groups representing Aswan, Al-Arish, Port Said, Kafr El-Sheikh, Al-Anfoushi, and Beni Suef, showcasing a fusion of cultures and human heritage. 🌎✨
🚤 Spectacular River Parade
The festival opens Tuesday evening with a parade at Aswan Tourist Market, followed by a river parade the next morning, creating a stunning visual experience highlighting the city’s cultural and tourist significance. 🌅🎶
🎤 Opening Ceremony and Public Shows
The official opening takes place at Fawzi Fawzi Summer Theater at 7 PM, with public performances beginning February 5 at multiple cultural and tourist sites, integrating tourism with cultural activities for all community segments. 🎨✨
