Yasmina Al-Abd stars in her first leading drama role in the series “Midterm,” portraying Tia, a young woman facing complex mental health challenges, including compulsive lying, severe depression, and delusions. Naomi (Jala Hesham) gradually uncovers the truth about Tia’s condition and tries to help her navigate the difficult reality.
The series also features Youssef Raafat, Jala Hesham, Ziad Zaza, Donia Wael, and other talented actors. It is based on a story by Mariam El-Bagoury and Mohamed Sadeq, with screenplay and dialogue by Warsha Baraah, directed by Mariam El-Bagoury.
Off-screen, Yasmina recently shined at the Grand Egyptian Museum inauguration, receiving widespread praise for her presence and performance. She was also appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for the EU initiative in Egypt promoting integrated water and food security awareness.
Yasmina continues her artistic journey with the film “Kan Yama Kan” alongside Nour El-Nobawy, and the series “Ibn Al-Nasaba,” featuring a stellar cast, where she portrays a strong woman facing major social challenges after her husband disappears.
