The Farouk Hosni Foundation for Arts and Culture announced the honoring of actor Yehia El-Fakharany with the 2026 Grand Merit Award as part of the Youth Arts Awards, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, in a grand ceremony on Monday, February 9 🎉.
Literary figure Mohamed Salmawy, Secretary-General of the award and Board member, explained that the Grand Merit Award is presented to prominent cultural figures in recognition of their lifelong contribution, while other awards focus on youth for specific works 🎨✨.
