The Al-Montazah First Police Department received a report from a woman who was scammed after receiving a call from an unknown person claiming to be a bank employee, asking her to update her bank account information. After following his instructions, she was shocked to find a sum of money withdrawn from her account without her knowledge.
Arrest of the Suspects and Evidence Confiscation
Security forces managed to identify and arrest the suspects, three individuals with prior criminal records, residing in Beni Suef and Minya governorates. They were found in possession of cash and mobile phones used to carry out their crimes.

Confessions and Similar Cases
During investigations, the suspects confessed to committing the crime and revealed their involvement in similar scams using the same trick, confirming the existence of an organized network conducting phone-based electronic fraud targeting victims.
