Fire breaks out at a livestock farm in Manshat Abdullah, Gharbia, causing the death of 8 animals. The Civil Defense extinguished the fire, and the prosecution is investigating.
A massive fire broke out at a livestock farm in Manshat Abdullah village, part of the Santah district in Gharbia Governorate, causing significant damage including the death of over 8 heads of cattle. The blaze also completely destroyed the farm and its agricultural equipment, including a tractor and an essential water irrigation pump used daily.
Security forces received an urgent alert from the Santah Police Station reporting the fire. Immediately, three fire trucks from the Civil Defense were dispatched to the scene, where firefighting teams worked swiftly to extinguish the flames and control the fire before it could spread to nearby houses, aiming to contain the disaster and prevent further damage.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the fire spread rapidly due to the presence of highly flammable materials inside the farm, which contributed to the quick expansion of the blaze. The incident resulted in heavy financial losses for the farm owners who rely on it as their main source of income.

Authorities filed an official report on the incident and notified the Public Prosecution, which ordered forensic experts to inspect the site to accurately determine the cause of the fire. The Criminal Investigation Department was also assigned to investigate the
circumstances surrounding the fire. The case is being closely monitored by officials, with public sympathy and support shown for the farm owners.
It is worth noting that the Civil Defense teams were well-prepared to handle such emergencies, which helped them quickly control the fire and prevent it from escalating into a larger humanitarian and environmental disaster.
