Telecom Egypt delivered an impressive financial performance during the first nine months of the year, with total revenues rising to EGP 78.1 billion 🔝, representing a 34% growth compared to the same period last year.
This growth was driven by data services 📶, which generated EGP 34 billion, incoming international calls 🌍 at EGP 10.2 billion, and infrastructure services for operators 🏗️ worth EGP 7.8 billion, contributing 54%, 15%, and 8% respectively to total revenue growth.
The company also saw an increase in subscribers for fixed voice ☎️ by 7%, fixed broadband 🌐 by 8%, and mobile services 📱 by 9% compared to the same period last year.
EBITDA 📊 rose by 48%, reaching EGP 34.5 billion with a profit margin of 44%, while net profit after taxes 💵 surged by 96% to EGP 17 billion, recording a 22% margin compared to 15% in the same period of the previous year.
The company noted that capital expenditures on service assets 🏗️ amounted to EGP 12.2 billion, while cash capital expenditures reached EGP 20.9 billion, down 30% from last year. The net debt-to-EBITDA ratio 📉 improved to 1.5x, compared to 2.3x in the same period of 2024.
