Online registration for Al-Azhar kindergarten and first grade is open from July 1 to July 31, 2025.
Al-Azhar has officially announced the opening of electronic registration for kindergarten and first grade at Al-Azhar institutes, starting Tuesday, July 1, 2025, and continuing until Thursday, July 31, 2025, through the Al-Azhar online portal.
Age Requirements for Admission
Al-Azhar has set specific age criteria for student admission for the upcoming academic year:
1. Kindergarten: The child must be at least 4 years old and not older than 6 years and 1 day by October 1, 2025.
2. First Grade: The child must be at least 6 years old and not older than 9 years on the same date.
Registration Link and Application Steps
Applications must be submitted online only through the Al-Azhar Portal, which allows parents to choose the type of institute (General – Model – Private) and input all required data.
Note: Submitting to more than one institute is prohibited. Parents must sign a declaration confirming they have not applied elsewhere.
Required Documents After Acceptance
After the electronic coordination results are announced, parents must visit the assigned institute to complete the enrollment file. The required documents include:
Original birth certificate (with national ID number).
A copy of the student’s health card and the original medical report approved by the Health Insurance Authority, confirming the child is free of infectious diseases.
A printed copy of the online application form.
Four recent passport-sized photos (4×6 cm).
Five envelopes labeled with the student's address, each containing a local postage stamp.
Admission Procedures and Regulations
Al-Azhar has outlined several procedural guidelines to ensure a fair registration process:
1. No institute is allowed to accept documents from parents before the official announcement of coordination results.
2. Once accepted, the parent must complete the child’s file within 15 days of the results' announcement. Failure to do so will result in disqualification, and a student from the waiting list will be selected.
3. Personal interviews are conducted only for students accepted into model and private institutes.
4. Final admission results must be displayed clearly at each institute for public access.
5. If a student is found to be enrolled in another non-Azhar educational institution, their acceptance will be immediately revoked.
