Meat and Poultry Prices in Egyptian Markets Before Eid al-Adha 2025

The Egyptian markets have witnessed stability in meat and poultry prices as Eid al-Adha approaches, amid increased local supply and efforts to provide goods at reasonable prices.

The prices were as follows:
Sudanese meat at 285 EGP per kilo,

Fresh beef at 350 EGP,

Buffalo meat at 260 EGP,

Frozen meat at 210 EGP,

Local lamb at 385 EGP,

Frozen lamb at 390 EGP,

Sacrificial cows at 190 EGP per kilo,

Frozen poultry at 110 EGP,

Small veal shoulder (veal) at 190 EGP.
In butcher shops, meat prices ranged between:

Local meat from 380 to 450 EGP per kilo,

Beef cuts between 320 and 360 EGP,

Camel meat between 270 and 300 EGP,

Lamb from 380 to 420 EGP,

Veal between 350 and 400 EGP per kilo.
Meanwhile, at the National Company outlets, the prices recorded were:

Beef at 285 EGP,

Shoulder steak at 300 EGP,

Beef steak and filet at 325 EGP,

Shank at 295 EGP,

Filet mignon at 350 EGP,

Fresh liver at 285 EGP per kilo.
