Friday Prayer for Children’s Success and Achieving Dreams

Friday is considered one of the best times for prayer, as it is mentioned in the Sunnah that there is an hour during which prayers are answered. Scholars differ on its exact timing—some say it is during the difficulty the preacher faces on the pulpit, others say it is after the Asr prayer until sunset—but all agree on increasing prayers on Friday.

Many parents make a point to pray for their children on this blessed day, asking God for success, happiness, and ease for their children in studies and life. We ask God to facilitate all good for them.

Prayers for Children’s Success and Achieving Dreams

O Allah, grant our children relief from every distress, and ease from every worry, and fulfill their wishes.

O Allah, open for them the doors of knowledge and wisdom.

Make them among the outstanding and successful, and write goodness for them wherever they are.

Guide our children in their studies and protect them from all harm.

O Allah, grant them lasting success and elevate them to the highest ranks.

Strengthen their minds and increase their knowledge, understanding, and intelligence.

Make them a source of pride and happiness for us, and protect them from all evil.

Plant in their hearts the love of learning, excellence, and sincerity in work.

O Most Generous, grant them rest from every hardship and acceptance for every prayer.

Prayer for Exams and Studying

O Allah, open for me the openings of the knowledgeable, and teach me what benefits me.

Grant me quick memorization, understanding, and clarity of mind.

O Allah, inspire me with correctness and grant me success.

Make the exam easy for me as You made the sea a path for Moses.

My Lord, expand my chest and ease my affairs for me.

Keep me firm when questioned and remind me of what I forgot.

Make the end of my efforts joy and excellence.

Make my studying a witness for me, not against me, and grant me success in every question.

O Allah, make success my ally, and do not make me among the losers.

O Ever-Living, Sustainer, keep my heart firm and set right all my affairs.

The Virtue of Reading Surah Al-Kahf on Friday

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him... and his sins between the two Fridays will be forgiven.” (Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi)
It is recommended to read it from the sunset of Thursday until the sunset of Friday.

Prayer with the Intention of Success on Friday

O Allah, decree success for us in every matter we strive for.

Grant us a share of success and a portion of prosperity.

Bless our steps and make our words and deeds guided.

Make the end of this week the start of great success.

Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us guidance in our affairs.

Make us among those whom You answered when they called, and gave when they asked.

Do not return us disappointed and honor us from Your inexhaustible treasures.

Make light in our path and tranquility in our hearts.

Guide us to what You love and are pleased with, and do not make our need except to You.
