The security agencies of the Ministry of Interior have revealed the details of a video circulating on social media showing a violent fight in Luxor Governorate, during which firearms, bladed weapons, and wooden sticks were used. This incident caused public concern and controversy.

After investigation and inquiry, it was found that the fight occurred between two parties residing within the jurisdiction of Luxor Police Department, due to longstanding neighborhood disputes. The altercation resulted in three people from the first party suffering various injuries, while the second party included two individuals. Both sides exchanged blows using a shotgun, a bladed weapon, and several wooden sticks.

Although the police had not received any official reports at the time, security forces quickly intervened after monitoring the incident on social media platforms. The identities of those involved were identified and they were arrested. The weapons used were also confiscated, and necessary legal actions were taken against them.

In a related context, security forces also uncovered details of another video showing a fight between several individuals in Sharqia Governorate, specifically in the Zagazig Police District. Investigations revealed the fight was due to financial disputes, with both parties using bladed weapons but no injuries were reported.

The police arrested the suspects and seized the weapons used. All involved confessed to their actions, and legal procedures were carried out against them, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to prevent any attempts to incite chaos or disrupt public security.
