Boulos Assis: The old church and its leaders congratulate Father Boulos Faragallah, the pastor of the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary and the legal representative before official authorities and the Egyptian state. They clarify that on 15/05/2013, the old church, which is a recognized denomination in Egypt, authorized Father Boulos to establish a church under the name of the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary for all Copts and provided him with the official documents.
Father Boulos founded and officially licensed the church, connected all its utilities in 2019, and established its executive committee and general assembly, successfully accomplishing these tasks. Therefore, the church leaders, along with Father Boulos, focus on a methodology of unity in education, thought, and spirit so that everyone may be one, according to the Gospel.
