The Ministry of Social Solidarity announced this morning, Saturday, the start of disbursing November payments under the “Takaful and Karama” support program. Minister Maya Morsi confirmed that more than 4.7 million families across Egypt have begun receiving their financial aid, with a total value surpassing 4 billion EGP for this cycle.
Beneficiaries were able to withdraw their payments early in the morning through ATMs located nationwide, while also being able to use their cards for electronic payments, government transactions, and purchases.
The Ministry emphasized that it is closely monitoring the disbursement process in coordination with governors and local directorates of social solidarity to ensure smooth procedures and avoid overcrowding, allowing eligible families to receive their support easily and on time.
The program currently provides financial assistance to around 4.7 million families—nearly 18 million citizens—with an annual budget of 54 billion EGP, following the permanent 25% increase implemented since last April.
