Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply, held a series of meetings with relevant authorities to ensure high-quality products are available as Ramadan approaches 🛒🌙.

The minister started meetings with Dr. Tarek El-Houbi, Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority, to enhance market supervision collaboration. Sherif Farouk emphasized the importance of coordination between authorities to protect consumers and provide high-quality essential goods, with continuous market monitoring to ensure compliance with health and food standards. It was also agreed to maintain regular coordination between the ministry and the Food Safety Authority to review markets and take necessary measures against violations.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Awad, Head of the Internal Trade Development Agency, Ahmed Kamal, Assistant Minister and official spokesperson, and Sara El-Azzazi, Head of the Central Administration for Minister’s Office Affairs.
