The Ministry of Social Solidarity has started distributing the Takaful and Karama support for November, benefiting more than 4.5 million families nationwide, with total amounts exceeding 4 billion EGP 💰.
The ministry clarified that unregistered citizens can apply easily by visiting the social unit in their residential area and submitting the required documents, including: national ID card, birth certificates, marriage or divorce certificate, school enrollment for children aged 6 to 18, and medical documents in case of chronic illness or disability 📄✅.
Eligibility conditions include the family being below the poverty line according to the official statistical formula, no fixed income or pension, children attending school with at least 80% attendance, and the mother participating in health awareness sessions and child vaccinations 🎓🩺.
The ministry has also activated an online service that allows beneficiaries to check the status of their support card using their national ID to see if it is active, suspended, or frozen.
Support can be withdrawn through post offices, ATMs, e-wallets, and the Meeza bank card 💳.
