The July 26th Corridor witnessed a painful traffic accident on Friday morning that left at least eight people injured following a violent collision between two vehicles, prompting an immediate response from security and traffic authorities.

According to initial reports, the General Directorate of Traffic’s operations room received an emergency alert from the police about a crash near the monorail project, approximately one kilometer from Lebanon Square.

Upon receiving the alert, security forces, rescue teams, and ambulances rushed to the scene. Preliminary investigations revealed a direct collision between a microbus and a private car, resulting in multiple injuries due to the severity of the impact.
Several ambulances were dispatched to transfer the injured to Sheikh Zayed Specialized Hospital for urgent medical care. Meanwhile, traffic authorities worked swiftly to clear the wreckage and restore the flow of traffic to prevent congestion.

Security sources confirmed that no fatalities have been reported so far. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause and circumstances of the accident, with assurances that legal measures will be taken accordingly.
