Matrouh Governorate Honors Top Students as Preparatory Certificate Results Announced with High Pass Rate

Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, officially approved the preparatory certificate exam results for the 2024–2025 academic year on Saturday, recording a success rate of 84.4%. The results showed notable stability, reflecting the efforts and progress of the local educational system.


The governor personally called the top-performing students to congratulate them on their outstanding achievements, affirming the governorate’s full support for all high achievers and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence. He also extended his thanks to parents for their vital role in this success.
Nadia Fathy, Director of the Education Directorate in Matrouh, stated that a total of 11,775 students sat for the preparatory exams, of whom 9,935 passed. She noted that the success rate marks an improvement compared to previous years, indicating progress in educational performance across the governorate.


Fathy added that the Directorate ensured a safe and organized environment for students during the exams, implemented precautionary and safety measures, and coordinated closely with local education administrations to prevent any disruptions.


Meanwhile, the Al-Azhar educational sector continued to monitor the secondary certificate exams. Sheikh Atiya Salem, Head of the Matrouh Al-Azhar Region, conducted a field tour to inspect the chemistry exams at exam centers in the city of El-Hammam, as part of intensive monitoring efforts to ensure smooth exam proceedings.


He was accompanied by Sayed Othman, Director of Model Education in the region. The tour included assessments of compliance with exam protocols, clarity and relevance of exam questions, and the overall atmosphere provided for students.
During his visit, Sheikh Atiya Salem listened to students’ feedback regarding the nature of the questions and exam conditions. He assured them that the administration is fully committed to removing any obstacles they may face. He also praised the efforts of exam supervisors and monitors in maintaining order and transparency throughout the process.


He emphasized that monitoring will continue rigorously throughout the exam period, with a firm commitment to fairness and equal opportunity for all students, stressing that success at this stage forms a crucial foundation for their academic and professional future.
