Saudi Arabia has begun welcoming the first group of Hajj pilgrims for the 1446 AH season, with a group of pilgrims from Malaysia arriving in Mecca and Medina, marking the start of this year’s Hajj season. A number of Tawafa service officials were present to warmly welcome the pilgrims, offering them flowers and commemorative gifts, expressing the highest forms of hospitality.

These moments mark a special beginning to the Hajj season, with relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia putting in maximum effort to provide the highest levels of comfort, healthcare, and services for all pilgrims. These efforts aim to ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease and convenience, while providing all necessary facilities to meet their needs throughout their stay in the holy cities.

The Tawafa service companies in Saudi Arabia expressed their gratitude to the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, for their ongoing support and efforts in mobilizing all available resources to serve the guests of Allah. This support includes providing the best services and facilities that help ensure the safety and comfort of the pilgrims, enabling them to perform their rites in a peaceful and comfortable environment.

On the other hand, the companies confirmed that this season will see the introduction of new and professional services for pilgrims and Umrah performers, based on an integrated system that includes transportation, accommodation, catering, and pilgrimage services, all under one umbrella. These services aim to provide a comprehensive experience for the pilgrims, aligning with the aspirations of the wise leadership and responding to the needs of the guests of Allah.

The companies also highlighted the active role of women in serving the guests of Allah this year. Women have become an integral part of the process, playing an important role in enhancing service levels and quality. Their honorable presence and high competence have had a clear impact on supporting the operations and providing a high level of service.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia is continuously monitoring the quality of services provided to ensure pilgrims’ comfort, in line with its ongoing directives. The ministry emphasized that pilgrims’ comfort is the ultimate goal that all agencies aim to achieve, and monitoring pilgrims' satisfaction is one of the priorities that is diligently worked on throughout the season.

In terms of new updates, last week saw the distribution of "Nusk" cards to the Malaysian pilgrims, alongside their passports and boarding passes. This step is part of a unified and seamless experience, the first of its kind this season, which facilitates travel and movement while reducing any complications pilgrims may face during their journey.

This comes as part of the continuous updates to the Hajj system in the Kingdom, with Saudi Arabia aiming to enhance the pilgrimage experience on all fronts by providing advanced infrastructure and improving organizational and administrative mechanisms. The Kingdom is leveraging the latest technologies to expedite procedures and streamline the services offered.

It is worth noting that the 1446 AH Hajj season is one of the most well-organized seasons, with several ministries and government agencies overseeing and guiding the process. These agencies focus on ensuring a safe and stable environment for the pilgrims, enhancing their religious and spiritual experience.

These efforts coincide with preparations to welcome a growing number of pilgrims from all over the world, with Tawafa service workers and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah dedicating their utmost efforts to provide all the services pilgrims need during their sacred journey. Thanks to these preparations, pilgrims can perform their rites in optimal conditions and feel comfortable and reassured throughout their stay in Mecca and Medina.

This year, according to royal directives, a substantial budget has been allocated to improve all services provided, including the development of public facilities, organizing transportation between the holy sites, and providing additional numbers of modern and comfortable transportation means. Furthermore, security measures have been strengthened to protect pilgrims and provide a safe environment for them at all stages of the Hajj.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had previously confirmed that it would continue working on developing Hajj and Umrah services to meet the growing needs of pilgrims. It also indicated that it would continue implementing preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of everyone, especially in light of global public health challenges.

In conclusion, the Ministry emphasized that it will remain focused on providing the best religious experience for pilgrims from all over the world while ensuring the preservation of the spiritual and human values represented by the rituals of Hajj, and continuing to enhance the experience of the guests of Allah in this season of Hajj and in the years to come.
