🕌 Qatar’s Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, led the Istisqa prayer with worshippers at Lusail Mosque on Thursday, seeking Allah’s mercy for rainfall, following the prophetic tradition.
🤝 The prayer was attended by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir’s personal representative, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with several ministers and senior officials.
📜 In the sermon delivered by Sheikh Dr. Yahya Bati Al Nuaimi after the prayer, worshippers were urged to sincerely repent and turn to God, emphasizing that all dominion belongs to Allah and that sometimes He withholds rain to remind people of their dependence on Him. The sermon highlighted the importance of prayer, supplication, seeking forgiveness, and God-consciousness in invoking rain.
