Esraa El-Mohamady, Extra News correspondent from the Red Sea Governorate, reported that the second and final day of the 2025 parliamentary elections is taking place in a calm environment with well-organized polling stations 🗳️.
She added that polling stations opened at 9 a.m. according to the schedule set by the National Election Authority, and voting is expected to continue until 9 p.m., with turnout steadily increasing since early morning, reflecting voters’ awareness and commitment to exercising their political rights.
The correspondent noted that the first day saw a large turnout of women at the beginning of the voting, followed by elderly voters and youth. Today, crowds continue to gather in front of polling stations, with a voting bloc exceeding 330,000 voters.
The governorate includes 68 sub-committees and 8 main committees, spread across three electoral districts: the first district (Ras Ghareb and Hurghada), the second district (El Quseir, Safaga, and Marsa Alam), and the third district (Halayeb and Shalateen), ensuring comprehensive coverage across all areas.
She confirmed that the efficient organization within polling stations and smooth procedures facilitated the voting process, reflecting the National Election Authority’s success in ensuring a transparent and orderly electoral process.
