Sam Altman Reveals His Favorite ChatGPT Feature: The New Pulse
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has revealed that his favorite ChatGPT feature is Pulse — a new tool designed to make the AI assistant more personal, proactive, and useful in everyday life.
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has shared that the newly introduced Pulse feature is his personal favorite addition to ChatGPT, describing it as a major step toward making the chatbot more human-like, personalized, and deeply integrated into users’ daily routines.
Unlike traditional AI tools that wait for user input, Pulse works proactively, helping users by delivering timely summaries, reminders, and insights tailored to their individual needs.
Currently available exclusively to ChatGPT Pro subscribers, the feature analyzes previous conversations, connected apps, and personal interests to generate a daily summary when the user opens the app — including reminders about past topics, upcoming events, or new suggestions related to fitness, travel, and learning.
Users can also customize how Pulse works, removing irrelevant suggestions or fine-tuning recommendations through the “choose” button. By linking external apps like Gmail and Google Calendar, users can receive smarter, context-aware insights — for instance, Pulse might help prepare a meeting agenda or recommend dinner options nearby.
During a Q&A session, Altman was asked if OpenAI plans to include ads within Pulse. He responded that there are currently no plans for ads but admitted that well-targeted, helpful advertisements could be considered in the future, comparing them to Instagram’s precise ad targeting.
As for why the feature isn’t free, Altman explained that the massive computational power required to run Pulse continuously makes it resource-intensive, which is why it’s currently limited to Pro users.
Altman concluded by emphasizing that Pulse represents the human side of AI, transforming ChatGPT from a simple chatbot into a personal assistant that understands and supports users throughout their daily lives.

Criminal Investigations Between Prosecution Authority and the Guarantees of Presumption of Innocence
Counselor Nevin Wahsh emphasizes that criminal investigations, despite their importance in the initial detection of crimes, cannot be considered fully-fledged evidence in criminal proceedings.
