The Second Phase of University Admission Coordination Begins Tomorrow, Wednesday
Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the second phase of university and institute admission coordination for the new academic year 2025/2026 will commence. The electronic coordination website will officially open for high school graduates, giving them the opportunity to carefully register their preferences and select colleges and majors that align with their academic results and future ambitions. This step aims to organize the admission process and provide fair opportunities for all students.
Registration Period and Deadline
The registration period on the electronic website will continue until Sunday, August 10, 2025, with the possibility to access and modify preferences around the clock throughout the registration period. The Ministry of Higher Education stresses the importance of students carefully reviewing their choices before the final deadline to make the most of the available opportunities and ensure a complete and accurate application.
Minimum Admission Scores for the Second Phase
The ministry sets the minimum acceptance scores based on the secondary education system the student follows, taking into account the differences between the old and new systems:

Scientific Stream: 220 marks or more (68.75%)

Literary Stream: 205 marks or more (64.06%)

Scientific Stream: 280 marks or more (68.29%)

Literary Stream: 240 marks or more (58.53%)

These thresholds reflect the required averages for admission to the colleges and institutes accepting students in this phase, including faculties of Commerce, Arts, Computer Science, Agriculture, and various technical institutes.
Expected Number of Students in the Second Phase
It is expected that approximately 287,318 students from various scientific and literary streams will participate in the second phase of coordination. This phase represents a critical opportunity for students who did not secure their desired choices in the first phase or those wishing to adjust their preferences according to their results, making it an important milestone in the university admission journey.
