Shocking secrets in the Fifth Settlement crime... The husband requests to amend the record: She used to hit him
The defendant’s lawyer reveals psychological disorders of the victim and requests to amend the case record.

Dr. Mohamed Hamouda, the lawyer for the businessman accused of killing his wife inside their apartment in the Fifth Settlement, told the court that the extraction of the victim’s phone content revealed she was suffering from severe psychological disorders, as documented by messages and conversations saved on the phone.
Hamouda explained that the victim’s own family—specifically her father and brother—confirmed during investigations that the wife frequently assaulted her husband. He noted that her brother explicitly said in his statement: “I was afraid to go into her... and she used to hit me.”
The lawyer added, “We do not deny the depth of the pain—the deceased was dear to everyone—but at the same time, we seek justice, and there is an innocent man accused of a crime he did not commit.”
Request to Amend the Charge
On the other hand, the victim’s defense team, led by Maram Sama, requested to amend the legal charge and description in the case to consider it premeditated murder, based on Article 34 of the Penal Code. They confirmed that the crime was committed with deliberate intent and under aggravated circumstances.
The court continues to hear the case amid legal and humanitarian controversy, with widespread anticipation of the outcomes of the upcoming sessions.
