In the early hours of Friday morning, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Middle Ring Road, just before the October toll gate heading toward Fayoum. According to preliminary reports, a minibus carrying several passengers overturned after the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to flip unexpectedly in the middle of the road.
Twelve passengers sustained injuries ranging from fractures and bruises to deep cuts. Emergency ambulances were dispatched immediately to transport the victims to El-Badrashin General Hospital, where they received first aid and medical evaluations.
